CNY and the Year of Red Yin- Water Tiger
Welcome to the New Year! According to the sta ndard, Gregorian calendar we've crossed into a new year, However according to the Eastern Calendar system we still have some important dates ahead and were not quite into the year of Red Yin (Water Tiger) yet. We still need to make it to February 1st for the 1st day of CNY (Chinese/ Lunar New Year) Contrary to popular belief in the west, the official beginning of the new energy cycle ( when we get a new animal sign) doesn't actually start on the same day. The commencement of this new energy cycle is marked by "LiChun". February 4th is actually the beginning of the year of the Water Tiger. This is decided by the Solar calendar & the 1st Jie Qi or Solar cycle called " Coming of Spring".
Animal Signs and Astrology:
How will this energy impact me?
This energy impact you depending on where it falls in your natal chart remember you have 4 animal signs.
Year: Social circle, friends and community
Month: Career, or parental relationships
Day: Health, relationship Hour: Thoughts, feelings, emotions, relationship with children
Discover your 4 animal signs and elements here:
Ox: Anytime an animal sign that is in your natal chart is present for the year/month, it can feel more stressful as you feel like your more visible or "seen". Make choices carefully during these times. Look for Rat Days to Combine and support you. Lots on excess Metal energy signals the importance of our immune system.
Combinations-
Rooster/Snake: Again with the excess metal... This trio of Animal signs combine to create a "metal frame". Be cautious with the excess metal and your respiratory and immune system. You can even notice eczema or dry skin also.
Harmony-
Rat: Combining with the Ox creates earth, This month could offer some much needed sense of stability if you've felt unsure this year.
Seasonal-
These are the animal signs that make ups thee season of winter (Pig, Rat Ox). All 3 animal signs should be present to form combination to make the element of water.
I've recently came to understanding the importance of seasonal combinations in a natal chart. The presence of this combination has the potential to make you very strong, show wealth opportunity etc.
Pig & Rat: The presence of Pig, Rat and Ox make the element of water. Water also represents wisdom. Use this extra boost to push yourself ahead in your endeavors & finish your Year off strong. You may find new opportunity & doors opening for you over the winter season. As noted above be mindful of the amount of feelings of anxiety and depression.
Feng Shui:
Best Sectors:
South : The south proves to be the winner this year interns of useable energy. the 7 monthly star is ehh, but still usable, especially to network. Use the area for online dating, interviews, etc.
Worst sectors: Avoid over activation of these areas, general use is fine
West: The unlucky 5-8 combo takes up residence in the West. It's a good time to take down your yearly wealth activations if you've previously activated the West of your home or office.
The 3 killings moves to the East for the month, we get a double impact of the yearly 3 killings and monthly 3 killings in this sector. Avoid renovations & overly activating the area.
Other notable energy:
North: The pressence of the 8 monthly star tapers off the yearly 2 star. Generally a 8/2 flying star combo is one of the times the 2 is ok to use...although I would NOT activate. Working, or general use of the area is fine. I believe it's ok to resume using the area if you've previously kept the area quiet.
